I have been using a set of Zeiss Victory LRF Binos for about a year, and I love the convenience of having a rangefinder and binocular in the same package, but I have not found a carry option I like.
I have tried just using a simple strap around the neck, but the weight creates neck strain, and debris always ends up on the lenses. Lately I have been storing them in a Eberlestock multipouch mounted on the back of my molle 'warbelt'. This is very comfortable, but access to the pouch requires that I remove the belt, which is fine when in a static position, but on the move takes too much time.
I was looking at the Badlands Binovault, but it seems to have a few bad reviews. It left me wondering how the military carries the Vector, or if any members could make a recommendation for a carry system that is comfortable, unobtrusive, provides protection from debris, and allows quick access.
Sorry for the randomness and lack of cohesive thought in this post.
