i have a bipod for my 700 tac and when i get behind the rifle my crosshairs are canted a little it anoys the hell out of me my question is do they make a adapter for my sling swivel that will make my bipod a pivot bipod or do i have to buy another bipod which i dont really want to do

Re: bipod

My non swivel Harris was the same way. I just added rubber strips between the stock and bi-pod on the side it tilted downward to level it. Kept me shooting till I could get a swivel bi-pod.

Re: bipod

My non swivel harris does the exact same thing. You can either try to shim it to get it level or replace it with a swiveling version. I think most people that buy a non swivel end up upgrading in the long run. I know I did.

Re: bipod

I use the 6-9. If I want to shoot from the sitting or kneeling position I use a pair of shooting sticks I made from some cheap wall mart walking sticks. Painted and made to look more tacti-cool of course! Total weight...13 oz.

I used them as walking sticks for a few months. They are pretty sturdy and don't collapse under my 260 lb frame.
