Forza is what I do to relax with the other guys from Grassroots Motorsports Magazine...you know, guys who actually RACE...or maybe you just own parts
IN the garage and do it? Note: The fairing on the bike...DIY, cut, fit, and adapt.
The 1972 LT1 on the stand and the Doug Nash Comp 5 underneath it speaks for itself. As to NASCAR tags on homologated cars and equipment, check your history and your parts. If your Top Loaders are from homologated cars/parts bins you would no doubt know it. Yeah, I got plans and ideas for the future, but I ALSO have years of grease in my skin and under my nails from bulding motors and tearing them down(That 110hp Sporty motor was torn down once by me, and I rebuilt the valve train once too), and I have built three Ford V8's(taken one apart and rebuilt twice) and a Datsun 1300cc four(side draft weber, sick and twisted little cam, headers exiting out a 2" through a 'glass pack) in my time alone with a book and tools, oh, and the original trans for my 'Stang, a Borg Warner Close Ratio T-10 I had to rebuild before I could even use it.
Ya wanna come hang out and bust some knuckles wth us? Come on down and help yourself, but bring some beers and elbow grease if you do: Of course if you are just talkin out your ass...
The Project Healey, well it needs some sanding and I have been working on trying to break free parts without breaking parts under each fender since summer last. yeah, I play a video game, don't really do much, but I guess that's how we old school gearheads do things...a little here, a little there, maybe work on teh bike today, the car tomorrow, do tons of homework and play a video game to get bio or pre cal out the head...yeah, that's me, no grease here
