We already know that we aren't the only intelligent beings ever created.
There are inter-dimensional beings that can pop in and out of our 3 dimensional space while taking on differing solid appearances at will. The Bible refers to them as angels and demons (both being the same kind of creature). There is no Christian doctrine that precludes the existence of others. (In fact, no one knows for sure just who/what the Nephilim are mentioned in Genesis).
We however, are clearly said to be somehow different than any other in creation. The Bible says we were created a "little lower" than the angels, but that we shall be "changed". When we are changed, then we will reign along with Christ and shall see him as He truly is because we shall be made like Him.
Believe it or not, make of it what you will...but that is exactly what it says.

Ding ding ding. The demons live to make us worship them. Their role until the end of this earth is to trick us into thinking they created us. Leading people aside isn’t good enough, they where cast out because they wanted to be god. They want to be worshipped as gods and nothing else will satisfy them.

I think the question needs to be reconstructed to make sense, or just be more specific.

Saying religion" is like saying "sports", doesn't do the challenge justification.
We are living in the very beginning of a future where a lot more things will be understood by us. The discovery of almost a hundred subatomic particles and similar discoveries by physicists mean that the key to what makes the universe itself function may be just around the corner to being understood. The possibility of discovering, and mastering interdimensional transport may very well be achieved by humanity sooner than actual faster-than-light propulsion, and ITD means of transport will open wholly new avenues of exploring and colonizing distant worlds so Old Earth will just be one of the myriad human settlements when an inevitable cataclysm such as the Sun turning into it's red giant phase finally happens.
Here is a toast that the current pandemic will reignite a permanent interest in the sciences among the future generations...

The 1940s and 1950s were decades where every young boy was predominantly focused on rocket ships, ray guns, and moon bases... Less than 20 years later, these same men helped design and build the Saturn Vs and Apollo vessels that placed astronauts on the moon, as well as successfully launch Voyagers 1 and 2... We need another scientific revolution just like this, and to continue forward with nothing to halt it's progress...

Well, medical sciences goes hand in hand with aeronautical and space fields of research. As a matter of fact, the latter cannot develop without footing from the former. For me, the various military sci-fi and space operas of the 1960s to early 2000s, and the entire complex worlds of ships, fleets, weapons, and large scale operations involved in these stories got me heavily into metalwork, welding, and freight logistics. They are all closely intertwined when we are considering the sheer scale of modern and future industrial development.
Hopefully, holoscreen headlines from 2200 AD will read:
"NAVY OPENS INTERDIMENSIONAL GATEWAY IN ASTEROID BELT LARGE ENOUGH TO FLY AN ENTIRE VALLEY FORGE CLASS ASSAULT BATTLEGROUP TO NEWLY MAPPED PROTOSTAR"...

I remember my first SciFi read. Have Spacesuit Will Travel by Robert A Heinlein. NOt one of his better known novels but a great fun read. Highly recommended.

Interdimensional travel/transportation already exists in our plane of existence. Physicists have observed that electrons in the valence shells of atoms can be in multiple locations at the same time, disappear and appear across various distances instantaneously. Another observation is the spinning of quarks, and how the change in direction of the spinning of one particle can remotely influence it's brother particle somewhere else on an instant basis. As a matter of fact, it is because of this interdimensional behavior of subatomic particles that modern electronics, silicon chips, computing, and chemical reactions can be made possible.
Cutting edge physics today is showing that interdimensional travel do exist, and is already naturally occurring with subatomic particles. And it is perfectly acceptable to believe that another intelligent life form may have mastered the extremely complex mechanisms behind it and is using it to colonize and explore other worlds, ours included. It is actually more probable that an advanced technological race will use dimensional "beaming" to send personnel and equipment from one location, across another dimension, to another location, instead of relying on extremely fuel and time consuming voyages across physical space where the barrier of light speed cannot be broken by any known means. The amount of energy required to open a "rift" in space-time, making a dimensional portal possible, is absolutely IMMENSE though. Physicists have calculated that a civilization that can maintain a portal large enough to send something like a spaceship, or even one person through will have to be able to harness the energy of multiple stars. To be able to appear on Earth or near Earth space without the collossal energy emission signatures being detected by our primitive instruments will require shielding and cloaking technology thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of years ahead of our own. It will be like a modern stealth jet fighter or spy plane crossing the territory of an adversary who is only equipped with World War II radar tech.

Will be interesting to see how all this plays out. I also have always felt that the definition of "Unidentified Flying Object" was very obscure. Like... A drone is a UFO if you are someone who sees the drone but can't identify what it is. Once you know what it is, though, it's no longer a UFO.
There is a very large gap between Newtonian physics and Quantum physics. Newtonian physics breaks at the subatomic level. With such phenomenon as quantum entanglement etc which cannot be mathematically defined by traditional physics/mathematics. Yet like your example of electrons in the valence shells, quantum entanglement is an observable phenomenon. Where once 2 particles are entangled, they can be seperated by any imaginable distance and yet still maintain their entangled relationship. Change the state of one of the entangled particles and the other reacts instantaneous across any distance. Stranger than fiction, TBH.
BTW, this is how we will eventually overcome Moores law which will then evolve into the first planetary Multivax.
