When gov’t is corrupt, all those that willfully and voluntarily empower it are as well, regardless of their own personal thoughts, opinions, and position. They keep their job by operating to the satisfaction of those above them all the way to the top. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise as they are wither ignorant or deceitful. Every gov’t in the world is a corrupt cesspool of evil. A handful of people at the top of them couldn’t pull it off without the millions working underneath them. Ask anyone what they think about politicians, big government, and what decisions they trust gov to make on their behalf and listen to the replies and yet these same people have no issues working on behalf of politicians, adding to the numbers of a bloated authoritarian state, and defending the hell out of it when push comes to shove.
