Brothers from another Mother RRA and R700 XCR

This is gonna be fun. I can't wait to get these dudes to the range. RRA 20" 1 in 9 .223 and Rem 700 XCR Compact Tactical 20" 1 in 12 .308. Nothing too fancy as both are essentially stock guns. Burris 3-9X40 on the FF Tac2 hunter knobs w/ Leatherwood base and Burris XTR med. rings on the Remmy and 4.5-14X42 FF Tac2 hunter knobs w/ YHM risers and Warne QD med. rings on the RRA.

How do you like the Burrris scopes? I have a Fullfield II I've never mounted

I like them and the sight picture is pretty clear on both. The 3-9X40 Burris thats on the the XCR does not have the ballistic plex conversions for .308 Winchester 168 gr. bullets but the .30-06 180 gr. table I think will work for compensation. It is a 180gr at 2700 fps and the Black Hills .308 Win match ammo is 2740 I believe. I won't get a chance to test my theory until this weekend though I will post up what I gather after breakin and zero. The Scope will have to work until I can afford a better scope with a mildot reticle.
