I've never used a Brux barrel but I'm considering one because it's the only thing I can find in stock in .224 with a 1:8 twist. I've always preferred Mike Rock's barrels in the past because they have been consistently faster than others I've had as well as the most accurate. I can't find one in stock though so it's not an option.
I would like to hear some feedback from people who have used both and can compare velocities. The 4 groove should be fast but you never know. If you have used both I would love to hear your thoughts.
This will be for a 223AI build on a weatherby mark V action. 1:8 twist for 75 and 80 AMAX's and finish length of 18-22" and threaded for my AAC Ranger 2.
