Noooooope.
I like my redundancy. I'm under a good canopy well higher than most BASE guys are jumping, and I've got time to use the backup.
Risk balance doesn't add up for me. Glad there are people who do it and love it, though.

The base jumping doesn't really excite me too much but I'd love to wing suit though.....that would be AWESOME!!
Same here. The wing has got to be the absolute bomb. Haven't we all dreamt of flying like superman as a child, then again as an adult (or grown child
) Tally HoIf I get enough experience in this sport before I hang it up, I might try a wingsuit. So much to learn in the meantime. Not sure I'll ever get there, but there's plenty of flying to be done in normal relative work.
BASE is a hell of a rush starting out, but after a bit it's just another freefall jump and you're flying a school bus for a parachute so the canopy ride isn't all that great. The wingsuit deal is pretty awesome, however I just couldn't get used to the idea of having so much movement restrained and having to deal with a malfunction, so it was only 6 wingsuit jumps for me. Currently I'm flying a powered parachute and having a blast!

While that may be true, there are much better ones than that one.
One time my foot slipped off my nerf bar getting out of my truck. That wasn't fun at all. Can't imagine another 2000 feet and doing it on purpose would add to the experience. Thanks though.
