Rifle Scopes Burris FullField II Opinions 6.5x20x

I recently got a free Burris Full Field II 6.5 to 20 scope. I know its no Nightforce but what does it compare to and can it hold up to recoil. I was thinking about buying a 700 P in .308 or .300 win mag and having a cheaper precision bolt rig.

I also got one on 'accident', and it has pretty good glass in it. Hardly any elevation adjustment, but does fine on a backup rifle or a trainer. I have had mine on a 308 for about 800 rounds and it has held a zero through 90 degree heat and -20 degree cold.
