Use the foam it came with to cover the sensors. This puts it in low power mode.Is there a way to power off the sensor so the battery doesn’t drain? I charged it to 100% this morning, left it on my desk and it’s at 55% now.

Still waiting on mine. Can you plug an external battery pack into it for extended run time ?Use the foam it came with to cover the sensors. This puts it in low power mode.
No, they charge wirelessly.Still waiting on mine. Can you plug an external battery pack into it for extended run time ?
Unfortunately no. It’s wireless charging only and needs to be placed upside down on the charging pad.Still waiting on mine. Can you plug an external battery pack into it for extended run time ?
Hmm. How long is expected run time in 95 degree sun ?No, they charge wirelessly.
Your phone will overheat in direct sun before the Calypso will. I've had no issues making it through back to back weekend matches on one charge.Hmm. How long is expected run time in 95 degree sun ?
Thanks. I was planning on setting it up on a 30 ft conex tower while engaging the mile plates from covered platform below. If I can get about 4.5 hours which is about what I get from camera battery in excessive heat, that will work. Thx for the heads up on charging pad.Your phone will overheat in direct sun before the Calypso will. I've had no issues making it through back to back weekend matches on one charge.
Do use some sort of timer/reminder to prevent leaving it on the charging pad for more than 3 hours though.
On a 3' extendable rod atop my tac table. It's mounted atop a Tripod, so prob 8' above ground level. My phone will maintain connection within bout 50', however my garmin watch has to be within 25-30' or it disconnects due to weak receiver. So where is everyone setting the AB Mini up? On the ground next to shooter? On a tripod near the shooter.
As far away possible and still be connected? Does shockwave/concussion from magnum brakes affect the unit,
and if so, How?
I just got one and fully charged it and put it up, the next day with no use it is at 30%, wait a few more days and it's at zero.Is there a way to power off the sensor so the battery doesn’t drain? I charged it to 100% this morning, left it on my desk and it’s at 55% now.
If you keep it in the foam that it was shipped with. This will place it into low power mode when in transport.I just got one and fully charged it and put it up, the next day with no use it is at 30%, wait a few more days and it's at zero.
Better take your charger with you.
Also the Android app is very flakey, but works good with Quantum AB.
The power stability is disappointing.
Messaged them about the app, about a week ago. They said they are working on it. So kinda good news. Let's hope they get it fixed quick.I just got one and fully charged it and put it up, the next day with no use it is at 30%, wait a few more days and it's at zero.

That is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. Why in the hell was that little tidbit not printed in giant fucking letters all over the box?If you keep it in the foam that it was shipped with. This will place it into low power mode when in transport.

Nothing. As long as the sensors are completely covered it works. Just need to be careful not to get anything into the sensors and damage them. What magic qualities does that foam have? Can you use any foam?
OK. to be clear, there is no ON/OFF switch? Sorry, still waiting for mine and trying to learn as much I canNothing. As long as the sensors are completely covered it works. Just need to be careful not to get anything into the sensors and damage them.
Their is not.OK. to be clear, there is no ON/OFF switch? Sorry, still waiting for mine and trying to learn as much I can
I’m going on 3 weeks wait time. Main office who I emailed for an ETA is only 15 min away. Does anyone know the average wait? I ordered direct from them(their website(I hope)). Or are these units coming from overseas?
