Canadian Gun Law.

Hello,
I live in Europe now and have a work offer in Canada, but as much as I like the quality of life and the propper enviroment to rise kids I would like to know something more about canadian gun laws and how difficult would it be to take mine with me. So I will really apreciatte any information on this subjects.

PS: I also like the US but your immigration laws are a little restrictive.

You would be better off selling what you own and buying new stuff here after you jump through all of our hoops.

If you're serious about that position, and the offer is about to come (or has come). I'd check with Canadian authorities. I'd describe the situation and ask for permission to start the application process. If they give you a cold shoulder - then you can start selling what you own, etc.

You can bring in firearms on a declaration that acts as a temporary license until you get your PAL.
