Casio Watch battery replacement

I have an ancient Casio G shock Dw-004 that needs a replacement battery. Has anyone had a FIRST PERSON experience with a service outfit that did a good job with a Casio?

There appear to be a number of bad service providers...looking for a reliable, fair one.

Good guy. Sears jeweler bent a hand on my sons watch and lied about it. Hand touching hand, watch would not work. Took three watches here, 2 Casio solar atomics, and an old Seiko for batteries. Did a fine job and repaired my sons watch free of charge.

I have Citizen Eco-Drive, because i do not like to replace batteries and all.

Dakota watch at the mall does all of mine... why? even most jewelry shops dont have a pressure tester to see if it is still water proof after the change.. they do, and only charge 13$

I had a local jeweler replace a Casio Pathfinder battery and the first shallow water dive I took resulted in a watch full of water. From what I hear jewelers have a tendency to not get these done right. I think for the protection of my investment, from here out I will try and send it to an authorized repair facility.

I had a bad experience on my Casio G-Shock ! I had it replace at Target store and that lady mess up my watch big time ! They replace it with a cheap Timex !

I just buy another watch when the battery go dead !

Well this idea won't worked for my watch and i consider watch battery replacement from a local store.
