CDI GUNWORKS stopped after
Jeffery Allen passed away.



They made Detachble Magazine Bottoms out of Aircraft grade aluminium and were well known for their craftsmanship and durability out in the field.


My question for a short action 308win is: What Aircraft grade Aluminium Detachable Magazine Bottoms would you recommend?

Where he really shined was his installs. Think he did it for free or damn near if you sent your gun to him. I'm glad I sent my FN to him and wish I had sent a few more. That's what really made him stand out in my opinion.

Curious why no one took over his product line after his passing? Anyone have the scoop? Happy owner of one of his Mauser DBM’s, and would love a couple more.

Legend tells that people tried. I know Chad at LRI openly offered to help in any way. I believe his widow didn't want it to be done by anyone else. That is pure speculation. But if that's her choice I respect it. I do wish it was still made.
