I recently had a light buld turn on in my head and I realized I hate my cell phone. So instead of a cell phone I now have a pager!! Now you have the option to talk to who you want while not being interupted from what you are doing.
I simply put my Samsung Solstice on "Reject All Calls" then it just goes directly to my voicemail where I tell the caller they reached my pager and to leave a numeric page or a voicemail.
Me personally, I love the idea because if it is important they will leave a message, or if someone I actually know needs me they can always text a message directly to me. Not sure if that makes me a bad person because I don't want to talk to people or not (I think not) but it seems that the cell phones are being hit with BS telemarketers more and more and I am tired of scrambeling for my phone ringing and not catching it or being rude to other people in person (count the times you see that happen in a day) and answering the phone without excusing myself if it is an important call.
I am an "old man" at heart but thought I would relay this little nugget that makes me feel easier. And helps defeat the trendy, gotta have my cellphone all the time mindset of the USA general population.
Your opinion?
