Cerakote AR Build

Getting ready to put together a AR 6.8 Rifle.

I'm leaning toward Cerakoteing the rifle due to the fact it is basically going to be a 4 Wheeler / Truck Gun.

Question if I go with a Daniel Defense Rail and recievers... Will a propertly applied coat of Cerakote Paint be tougher than the Type III andoizing most of the rails and recievers have??..

Not IMO.
It will be the color you want though.

I love Cerakote and use it quite a bit but anodized alum is a better finish.
