Chambering for new rifle in 6.5CM

So, I have a bunch of semi auto's, AR's from pistol cal to 308, and now I'm getting ready to get a bolt action. I'm gonna go 6.5CM just because there seems to be plenty of ammo in stores and online, and eventually my brother will take over reloading for it, as he's been loading quality ammo for the family for 25 years.

I want to be able to run the Hornaday (loaded ammo) 6.5CM 147gr ELD's as well as 140gr loaded ammo for now. Should the chamber be cut for the 140's? or 147's?
Also, has anyone loaded AW mags with the Hornaday 6.5CM 147 ELD ammo? or are they too long?

I'd have it cut for the 140's if it were me!

AW mags are one of the the longest OAL mags out there in short action...i doubt the 147s are too long for them

id have it cut for 140s as well

I'm not sure how GAP cut my barrel originally but 140 and now loading the new 147's no problem. The 147's are amazing in the wind!

Thanks for posting up... Looking at the bullets, maybe the extra length is down the center of the bore and not contacting... so they might feel similar to the 140's in the chamber.
I didn't think I'd be as psyched to get a nice bolt gun as I was when I got my first SBR!
