The official response from the US Navy should have been "We were conducting routine patrols in international waters one of our ships was threatened by a unidentified object we made the unidentified object go away we think the unidentified object is now at the bottom of the ocean we will continue to make any and all unidentified objects that threaten our ships go to the bottom of the ocean" "We will not be taking any questions have good day"

"Whats that you are asking about some Chinese ship that went missing that was suppose to be near where we were in international waters.......we don't recall any Chinese ship identifying itself near us, but good luck with the search"
