The COVID outbreak itself was the deployment of the very weapon to get multiple and multinational deep state organs more power and control, as well as quell the Hong Kong situation which was turning into a full on boog at the eve of the outbreak. Nobody will ever forget the terror campaign that Chinese state actors put on in the first months of the outbreak, with choreographed scenes of people "vomiting blood", "hemorrhaging", and "dropping dead" on the streets and buses as if COVID was a highly contagious hemorrhagic virus. All fake as revealed later, and all of that to instill fear across the world and get full lockdowns pushed. There had been utterly no doubt since April 2020 that the Chicoms were meddling in the upcoming US elections. For themselves it was a grand scale test of their new nationwide social credit system and app-verification process for the use of all public services, and they WANTED us to be absorbed into it as well and the best way to do that would be through Biden, the weakest link in our leadership.
They may not want to control our domain and land directly, at least not at the moment, but the Chinese ultranationalists' vision for a new hi tech Chinese hegemony would be a vast entity like the Imperium from Warhammer or the brutal Combine from Half Life. A central bureaucracy controlling a spiderweb of satellite entities, each one still retaining their own cultures and ethnicities, but in total obedience to the ruling core and expanding the web by using these satellites to conduct more assimilations and acquisitions elsewhere. To them we would be just another hive making up their vast spiderweb. If we had surrendered our telecom and Internet infrastructure to Huawei under their promises of a "more secure and centralized provider", and our energy grid to the solar farms that they were trying to expand into here and Canada, we would have become part of the Combine. Swaths of the world under the Belt and Road Initiative like multiple Central Asian countries, Morocco, Algeria, parts of Italy etc are already completely reliant on Huawei to provide cell phone and Internet service.
