We all need to lighten up a bit and remember different times so here this one goes.
What were the lyrics you sang in times passed, give it a go. Maybe should be in Maggies but I don't think there are enough of us here to care.
Here is mine, sung by the squad leader, E-5, from 2nd. squad with a genuine Case of the Ass, When we got packages from back in the World from churches, youth groups etc. On the LZ so noise discipline was not a factor. He opened his box and said,"Fuck, chocolate chip cookies, what is wrong with all these people sending chocolate chip cookies? Don't they realize chocolate chip cookie come from Hell and I can't stand another, give me a sandbag,.they are good for building a bunker."
He then sang out at the top of his lungs---
"Jingle Bells, Mortar Shells
Charlies in the grass
Take your Merry Christmas
And shove it up your Ass."
I was 1-6 but standing near him and could feel his pain. It was Christmas and we were very grateful for what we got.however,
we were hoping for some Peanut Butter cookies or anything else.
To this day, I will NOT eat anything that has chocolate chips in it...

Have a very Merry Christmas and watch out for those Chocolate Chips, they came from Hell.
