Christmas Gift from my wife

I have been 'rebuilding' my 10/22 for about 3 years now. When I say 'rebuilding' I mean that I have thought about it for 2 years and then took the rifle apart to motivate myself about a year ago...and there it sat in all of its pieces.

I made casual mention to my wife about this and had probably even mentioned that I need some motivation in the process and that the pieces that I want are sort of on the expensive side of the scale yadda, yadda, yadda.

So on Christmas morning I opened up my new Kid 2 stage trigger black assembly, red curved trigger, 8 oz/1 lb, speed magazine lever. It is exactly how I would have ordered it. I think that she had help in ordering it from a friend and fellow hide member...it's either that or I talk in my sleep. Regardless I now know that my secrets are not safe in my house

After seeing the attention to detail in the trigger assembly I am thinking Kid parts for almost everything else and tie it all together on a Tacticool stock.

So, all in all it was a great Christmas and now I have something to do with my spare time (and money) in 2011. Thanks to the wife and also to suitslinger who I suspect was in on the gift.

Re: Christmas Gift from my wife

I just put a kid trigger in a 10-22, and very happy with it.
Got the straight trigger in sleeper black and the low profile mag release.
I have issues with the &$@#)*^% drop you mag in the mud levers.

Great Christmas surprise ! You won't regret getting the rest of the parts from them either.
I built mine from the ground up with all Kid parts too, fantastic attention to detail ! I'm still amazed at how smooth the trigger is.
