Worst shopping trip ever. Went along simply for my family. Drove over to go Christmas shopping and to have a great time with family. Colorado did nothing but disappointment... Couldn’t eat anywhere without sitting in your car or on the curb in the cold like a homeless person. Trying to find my kid Christmas gifts was like searching for a four leaf clover in the Sahara. The people where nothing but rude. I feel so sorry for the people that have no other choice but to live around these horrible conditions. Not sure why you all do it. Have a blessed holiday everyone.

I remember in the 80’s an early 90’s when we had bike tracks all over from aurora to the tracks in downtown to Boulder
Parties, raves, concerts and shenanigans.
Great times.

The wife and I watched Jingle All the Way the other night. I'd seen it long ago but it reminded me how thankful I am to do my Christmas (and most other) shopping online. You could not pay me to go shopping in any city this time of year.

Colorado does not suck. Their cities suck. Their politics suck. Arguably, the people there suck. But there are many beautiful areas that you can still go and not see a soul if you so choose.

Really it’s big cities across America that are a major problem.
Washington, Oregon and California are fantastic as well except for the cities, politicians and idiots who voted them in.

They have some of the most screwed up ideas. One example, you can not dine inside of the main restaurant, yet they have outdoor buildings you can (sit in with others) to eat. While freezing your bottom off. Backwards thinking at its finest. Food is cold before it hits your fork.

I think what you described fits about every large city in every state, I love Texas but when I go to Dallas, Houston, or Austin it’s like stepping into a communist alternate reality now.

I’m ready for a select group of states to leave the union. We need a restructure. I am pretty damn sure that we will be going to South Dakota next time. No masks and no man buns.

It‘s not different here than any city,

I live here, it’s fine, sure things are closed, we are in Red after all, so take out is king, and stores all suck because of the limitations that is what the internet and online shopping is for.

We have an overly Liberal Governor so of course we are in various forms of lockdown, changes very little when compared to every where else I have been this year,

I moved to GJ/western Co. 32 years ago I did not pay attention that even then Colorado was inundated with libtards about 5 years later I was What !!! Thankfully 80% are in the Denver front range area but we still have too many here ,stinking parasites eating into everything! But I met my wife here ! all is well in my inner world😁 It’s our general decline/cultural shift (40 years in the making)that I try to push back a little each day hopefully influence my customers or various people that I interact with a little effort does seem help push back the garbage The majority of people here in west Co .are basically conservative and are revulsed by what’s out there in library world.

No. Cede no land to the enemy. Drive them from our lands.

They won’t leave you alone regardless. Give them the coasts and they will blockade you till you bow down

Take my trips to Alaska,

You have to jump through hoops if you follow the rules, quarantine or testing to even show up,(providing you don’t just walk past the line like I did) Then in Anchorage you cant do shit, the bars and restaurants in town are closed or limited, it was the same mess in most of the cities we visited depending on the threat level. Minnesota was the worse for us, even then only 2 seats at the bar, could not enter without a mask, it was militant in MN. In Nebraska it was non existent they never heard of Covid in August there.

Once you leave Anchorage things change, up in Willow / Talkeenta you can do what you wanted, no masks, bars open, people acting normal. Which is exactly what we saw In August when we traveled cross country.

It‘s city living, you deal with it, prior to the pandemic all the things I could get at any given moment by far outweighs the small towns that close by 10. I can still get a nice variety of food delivered, doordash has options.
