Put a 20 MOA scope base on my 700 and lost my cheek weld in the process. I have a lower set of rings coming, which will drop the scope 0.17”, a start but not enough. I am looking for a way to build up the comb without using strapped on bags. I am the only shooter of the rifle, so a permanent solution is preferred. Stock is an H-S Precision Pro-Series 2000 Varmint.

tape some foam to the inside of a cheek pack (TacOps, Eagle Ind, etc).
it comes off easily when you have to remove the barrel and your cheek weld will be exactly the same when you put it back on.
