In talking to some of my people across America, I have started asking about small manufacturing companies that have shut down recently. I'm not only hearing of them shutting down. I am being told that heavy equipment came in and demolished the plants and now there is just bare ground where there were battery plants, plants that made the acid for batteries, steel pipe manufacturers, galvanizing operations, etc.

Unsettling to see so many companies simply wiped off the map. Here are a few more:

Kinda out of character for him.
🤷‍♂️
Added my source so you guys can look it over. Some went bankrupt and emerged.... Either way it shows the downward spiral. For each one you feel is operating there are dozens of smaller operations that went totally under. They just did not show up on the radar.

#68 actually has to do with a local issue here, as Peter Nygard has been arrested and charged with multiple sexual assaults. From what I remember, there were planes, islands, exotic locations, and many many models involved.

So, whatever status the company is in.... has VERY little to do with covid.

HOUSTON (Reuters) - U.S. shale producer Chesapeake Energy Corp on Tuesday exited Chapter 11 bankruptcy with business plan that nods to its founders’ emphasis on natural gas after a recent push into crude oil.

I thought your "source" was talking to "some of your people around America," and I thought your info was that these places had been destroyed with heavy machinery, razed to bare ground. In reality, you are a dottering fool, and the fact that people around here take you seriously is a testament to the intellectual poverty of the place.

(Reuters) - Oilfield services firm BJ Services filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection early on Monday, following a severe cut in demand and cash crunch due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The company, which offers hydraulic fracturing of shale wells, said it was in discussions with bidders for sale of its cementing business and portions of its fracking operations.

On 25 February 2020, the company's New-York headquarters were raided by the FBI and NYPD, in connection with sex trafficking claims against Peter Nygård. This led to Nygård stepping down from the company.[8][9][10][11] In March, following Peter's arrest, Nygård International filed for Chapter 15 bankruptcy in New York,[3] and its brands were ordered into receivership.[4] The subsequent month, a Canadian judge approved for the company to be sold and liquidated.[5]

In May 2020, Nygard companies owed almost $50 million to approximately 350 creditors around the world, including 40 Manitobans

So, there's like 3, maybe 5 companies that are even worth a shit on that list.

Who really cares about the other 95% of them.
They sold shit products anyway.

I think the point is that just like the new royalty is slowly eliminating the middle class and turning the rest into peasants and serfs, the large corps are eliminating the smaller business's in favor of their own mega corporations.

Kneel and worship at the alter of money.

Eliminating cash for:

That might have been his point, however this entire plandemic has shown our country needs to manufacture our own products and stop relying on chinese production of necessary goods.
Unfortunately, when necessary goods are imported, all that's left is service industry, entertainment and shitty clothing stores.

My point.

I don't think you understand what bankruptcy really means

It took only 15 seconds to prove you wrong

I swear to God I feel my IQ drop every time I read something from certain people here

I try not to go out "shopping", I haven't even heard of most of those, rarely been to most I have heard of. But yes, it is a shitty time we live in. The company I work for (auto parts manufacturing) is sporadically working operators, I'm maintenance so it doesn't have any affect on me. And here in LA (Lower Alabama) all I've noticed are a few restaurants, but not many. Urban sprawl overtook my former residence, I moved to 6 acres out in the country, 6-8 miles from 3 small towns, surrounded by woods, 100 acre peanut field accros the road.
Bigger towns are booming; Dothan, Enterprise & Andalusia, those are +/- 25-40 miles from me.
And besides "flat earther" most of the population is the other 3 that was shared. We be thriving!

I'm not sure where that list got its information....Which is my nice way of saying it's completely bullshit. Restructuring/B-K and ceasing to exist/demolished are different things.

Remington is on the list 2x. Both Gold's Gym and 24 Hour Fitness (35. Hour Fitness) are still operating.

You are incorrect in your assertion.

If you check the stock links and hit max years you can see ( Chesapeake energy) just recently ( this year) first stock price was in FEBRUARY. That company has been around a LONG time. This is where it was allowed to issue stock.

( I think I got that right. If not then I got the overview pretty close).

That doesn't mean anything

The guy is claiming companies that are clearly operating went bankrupt and closed. Only bankruptcy court filings can validate that.

The original company may have very well have closed.
Another company may have bought the “name” in bankruptcy.

Just because it’s the same name does not mean it’s the same company.

But it could have been clarified a bit more.

A bunch of assumptions. Court filings will clear that up.

The OP has a long history of stupid posts filled with ignorant assumptions, half truths, and clickbait titles.,
