I was looking for a cheaper scope for a 223, ran across theese things in a mag. Any body ever see them or use them before. Do they work well? I cant figure out much about them, seem to be selling very cheap from the original MSRP.

I wanted a Counter Sniper scope but because I didn't crack the top 5 in my Scout Sniper class in 1987 with the 19Ds they wouldn't approve me to buy one. I am crushed ... still.
Anyway ... back in Reality World ...
I just went thru the Great Scope Hunt of 2010 for a new rifle and I read the net for hours compiling info on scopes on the lower end, middle, and entry-level high end. Looking at reports of problem, glass quality, customer service, etc. My spreadsheet says that in the $200 - $400 range the following are the only scopes with target turrets and mildot reticule that I could buy and be 99% comfortable that it will do what I need and not have to be sent back for loose lenses, dirt in the tube, tracking problems, etc.:
Bushnell 3200 10X
Bushnell 3200 5-15x40
Super Sniper 10X
Super Sniper 16X
Mueller Tac II (Made in Japan on Sightron line)
And I'll add a plug for buying from SWFA, too. Stellar service and 110% price guarantee. I ordered a Bushy 4200 from them and got it in less than 24 hours, they put extras in the box for me, I paid NO shipping for that 22 hour turn around, they beat everyone else's price including $150 off Midway's, and on the debit card bill they charged me still LESS than they'd promised.
