Anybody had this happen on vortex pro rings? These are the lowest 1” rings I can find on the market for this hunting rifle(0.75”). Have never experienced this before but I also usually buy higher end rings. These are not “low end” it seems with solid reviews on here and made in us but still has me a touch uncomfortable.

New set coming my way to swap out but found it interesting. I used my normal torque wrench to exactly the in/lbs (30) suggested and heard them sounding like rice crispies on the last little bit of effort before it clicked.

25 in/lbs was no issue.
