Crazy awesome feat...

I don't know if you guys have heard about this or not, but 2 former military elite plan on paddling tandem kayaks from Monterey, CA to the Hawaiian islands next April. They say they are going to get sponsors and use proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and the Navy Seal Foundation. I will post a link to their Facebook page for those interested. I wish these guys luck and I cant wait to see them succeed.

Pretty ballsy move. I'd love to know the logistical details of this endeavor though. How long is it going to take? How will they sleep? Will they have a support boat shadowing them? How much gear can they pack in their kayaks?

Either way, ballsy and for an awesome cause.
