Just wanted to verify the 2:30 pm time worked and that's what it will be for the Sept 14 match? Looking forward to getting back. Haven't been able to be there since April.
The matches will all start at 2:30 pm sharp...Check in at 2:15pm...If you get there early most likely shooters will be congregating/conversing about gear, the industry, etc. As the weather cools down it's anticipated that more shooters will start coming out.

The 100 yard range will be open until 2 PM, then the match director shuts it down to hang the targets for the match. If you get there by 1 -1:30 pm you can use my magnetospeed. I'll be there early to help set up targets--I'll see if I can get some larger targets out there.
I spoke to the match director yesterday and he said at this match he will be awarding MANY gift certificates from the sponsors and trophies for top 4 finishers.
If anyone is still on the fence about shooting the match there is still time to sign up.
Normally I would be there and let you use mine but I’m missing this one. The rifle range should be open as normal prior to the match.
What do you need larger targets for?
After setting up the stages today I can tell you that tomorrow’s match will contain the following:
Running
Climbing (a ladder will be provided)
Boating (simulated)
Swimming (towels and a change of clothing is advised)
The targets will be very forgiving--hopefully.

Yes! Bring a set of fins if you have them...Don't worry it will be the last stage of the day. Remember the match director is the guy that invented Mammoth.

Another day, another great match! Nothing like Swimming? the creek at 6:30 PM on a Saturday afternoon. Congrats to the top finishers and special congrats to the guy that came in 3rd--it was his first PRS type match ever!

You can try calling the range and talking to Joe, but I doubt it as these dates were set in stone for over a year now. It would still be great to have your friend at the match. You think he is a good as you?

Doubt it, but I’d be happy if he would. My better half has been requesting this since March. The match dates don’t align with her schedule.
Heads-up guys, registration closes in 1 hour but if you are still on the fence about shooting the match just show up and sign up the day of the match. Since it’s currently hunting season; there will be a shooting sticks stage tomorrow. As always, new shooters are always welcome to join in on the fun.
