So this past weekend I hand my first time handling a CZ. It was a CZ-75B compact I believe. It was without question the best fitting handgun I've ever held out of the box. The fit on it seemed tight and I've read some really great reviews on it and obviously its been copied for years. My question is this, on the DA/SA model when run double action the trigger is jut a touch too far foward for me to reach with a propper trigger position with out readjusting my grip. Obviously I coul just run it single action buti was wondering if there is a mode or cloan where the trigger is set back a little.
Also with the very lowprofile slide do folks have problems racking it quickly or is it something most get used to.

Re: Z-75D

I too find the DA pull a little long, but I have little bitch mitts.
Its workable enough, and I like having a DA/SA in the stable, so I haven't worried about it.

CZ Custom can convert to a beautiful copmetition SA only if you like.

Re: Z-75D

I liked the feel of the cz75 so much I thought about the SA only version but then I was thinking you can run the standard DA version SA and it would be an option in a pinch to go DA. Any reason to go with the SA version only model over the standard, are their any other features I may not be familiar with?

Re: Z-75D

NY700,

Other then being SA only I don't know of any differences. Mine was bought for range use and multigun matches (when there's no benefit to major PF) and not as a CCW. In most matches a DA has to start hammer down so I'd always have to start w/the DA trigger.

I forgot to mention before that the low profile slide is a little different. It does feel a little odd at first but it's not too hard to get used to.
