CZ550 Action in .243win

First real post on here guys so try and take it easy on me...

Just wondering if any of you guys know if a CZ550 action can be inletted so say an Ai stock, or if anyone over in the States makes a decent 'tactical' stock for such an action. I bought the rifle used just to get the action, was thinking of fitting it with a heavy target barrel and a tactical stock....Thanks in advice Guys

CZ USA offers a tactical gun in 308

and a varmint with what looks like a HS precision stock.

Maybe you could buy just the stock from CZ??

I have no idea whether or not the AI stocks can be inletted for the cz action but I have never seen one.

its not synthetic, but this is an A5 laminate stock. you can get a thumbwheel cheek piece and 3 way adjustable buttstock if you want

Thanks for Info guys...keep it coming...This is a pet project that i am thinking of working on. I like 'Tactical Rifles', although alot of them are restricted or prohibited over here...But i have managed to get my hands on a Sako TRG 22 and a Steyr Scout Tactical, so i was thinking of building one from scratch..Most guys will use a Remmy action, but hey, i want to be different!

Where would i go to source one of these stocks if i cannot get some in Synthetic? Damn fine looking stock...is it heavy? What calibre have you dropped into it?
