Daniel Defense

I recently stocked a few DD rifles at the store where I work part-time in Louisville. The rifles appear to be well built, but, I only have a little personal experience with the concept. Any here who can share their thoughts about it?

Haven't handled one myself, but they are very highly thought of over at m4carbine.net (home of the infamous 'chart' -- those guys are pretty picky about their ARs).

I've used one of thier float tubes. Well made, nice fit and finish. clean profile and looks.
I never really abused it though, so I can't attest to ruggedness.

Quality and price seem pretty much on par with LMT and Colt. Haven't been in production long so no long term data, but everyting points to a quality product.
