Anyone know why my brass shoulder is being dented when I full length size with my Redding die?

Is this just 1 piece, or every? If one is possible that you had something on the brass or in the die at the time of resizing. If every pieces is coming out like that, you need to share your reloading steps. Its possible that you are using too much lube.

It looks like too much lube. I keep a shop rag in one hand and I wipe the shoulder and neck off on each piece of brass before I resize them. That size dent won't hurt anything and it will fireform out when you shoot it.

Another vote for too much lube while sizing!!!!!! And as MtnCreek pointed out, looks like too much chamfer on the O.D. of the case neck!

Or you could have a perfectly fine amount of lube and you just didn’t let the liquid solvent flash off and dry before sizing so you’re getting some hydro action instead of just making it slick.

Too much lube as other have said, also check to make sure the "vent hole" on the sizing die is not plugged
if it has one, most times from the finish process (polishing) it gets plugged, find a paperclip for it.
