Hi,

Can we expected a COAL or Based to Bullet Datum of load round from Reamer Drawing?

I had 2 reamers on hand and deciding which fb will proper for my main projectiles.

Both reamer were made by Dave Kiff which design for shooting F-TR , No Nk-Turn , 1-30 Degree but the only different was fb number.

.088 for Mag Box

Example components;

Lapua Brass (Trimmed to 2.005")
168 SMK
175 SMK

168 Hybrid
175 LRBT
185 LRBT
185 Hybrid

Re: Expected COAL from Reamer Print

I just wonder that the Single Shot Reamer with .168 fb will usable with 168-175 SMK?

Worried about left shank bearing surface of 168-175 SMK will not enough for case nk to grip when load to touch the land or slightly jump 0.010" - 0.030"

Normal fb .088 which suitable for Mag Box was COAL 2.800"

Then the expected Normal COAL of .168 fb which set up for Single Shot will be 2.800" + 0.080" = 2.880"?
