I have been using these Shars .0005" dial indicators for about a month now, and they're a great product for the money!

I bought off eBay from discount machine for less than $20 shipped. I have a .25" on a Forster cartridge/case inspector and a 1" on a sinclair neck thickness sorting fixture. I just wanted to pass this along, since I was about to spend good money on a starret or mitutoyo before I found these. If you're looking at a sinclair concentricity fixture, or something like it, I would strongly suggest buying it without an indicator, and buy one of these. They're smoother in operation and the half thou grads are A LOT easier to read.
I hope this helps out somebody, Casey

^ I think you'll like it. It's by far the best deal I have found on a decent indicator.

BTW, I shoot an M1A myself. Man, I love those rifles! It's a 1999 SAI with TRW bolt and BBL, WRA hammer from Garand production, Springfield Armory OpRod (government armory, not the gun manufacturer), GI flash suppressor and gas cylinder. I lucked out and got it for a steal in 2003. I think the only commercial part on it is the trigger housing. I'm going to start shooting SR with it soon.
