Rifle Scopes differnt guys same scope

Has anyone here taken couple scopes or more and had different guys look though them? Lots of the people I know have a couple rifles with maybe a Nikon on one and a Tasco or Bushnell on the other. They don't have nice glass like what is talked about here.

Anyway has anyone with the better scopes had a couple guys look through them and set them on the power each needed to clearly see a particular target or line chart? Was there much differnce between guys settings?

That was a fun read. But that is not what I was thinking about. I read on another forum where a couple guys looked through some scopes. One guy could make out the image on 10X while the other needed 15X suing the very same scope.

I was wondering if that was an isolated incedent or is there that much variation in the shooting community at large.
