I bought an in/lbs torque screwdriver for mounting scopes since my torque wrench only goes down to 25 in/lbs. However, when I ordered it I just saw "adjustable" and when it arrived it adjusts by a set screw and to properly set it you need a calibration device. I went to the website that made it (CDI Tools) and apparently there are two kinds of torque screwdrivers "preset" like the one I bought is designed to be set once and used at that setting over and over again, like on an assembly line. They also have "micro adjustable" which is what I should have ordered, it is like my torque wrench and is easily adjusted. However, all fuckups aside on my part I can still use this if only I can get it set to 15 in/lbs. Does anyone have any torque calibration equipment or ideas to help me out with this?

I can't return it, so I either wasted 130 bucks that I really shouldn't be wasting right now or I can make it work.

I use a calibrated in-lb torque wrench at work that is calibrated evey six months to +/- 1%...
I could take yours in and compare/adjust until they match.. FWIW,
