Does this look correct? (Giraud Annealer)

This is the smallest flame I can get out of the annealer. Any smaller and it sputters and goes out.
I get the flame going, turn the valve all the way off and then just barely crack it open

Just seems bigger than what I have seen in the youtube videos

I'm not so sure that the flame size matters all by itself. It's going to be flame size, plus case time in flame, getting the package to work together for the end result. I didn't like my flame size either, and regulated it, the jury is still out on that one. I for one say that needle valve is a POS.
