Hi, im looking to invest in a precision bolt action rifle, what would be the best option, the Desert Tactical Arms SRS or the Blaser Tactical 2? The rifle would be chambered in .308 to begin with, however the reason I am looking at these two rifles is because of the interchangeable calibre feature.

I've done some research on the Blaser Tac 2 and like the DTA the barrels can be changed out in under a min. I have not touched or seen the Blaser Tac 2, but from the reviews and articles I've read, I beleive I'll stick with my DTA.

The biggest reason for me staying with the DTA is the Bull Pup design. The overall length is cut way down than the Blaser, allowing you to handle the weapon in tighter areas.

Other than that, either one would work great. You just have to decide what's best for you.

Also with the Blaser, the scope rail is part of the barrel assembly.

would have to switch scope out as well as barrel whereas with the DTA, you just have to switch bolts/barrels.

Roedale makes switch barrel nuts for tikka and Savages are able to be switch barrel also.
