The only problem with doing a bullpup stock for a conventional bolt action is the bolt handle will be extremely rearward, we corrected this on our SRS by locating the bolt handle on the front of the bolt instead of the rear of the bolt like conventional actions.

And you would also have to solve the whole trigger issue...
