Anybody installed a B&C medalist A2 stock on a Savage 10 FP 24" heavy barrel .308 ? This is a newer version of the barrel, so the stock number was 2997-30. So after I installed a stock, I'm not able to pull a little safety mechanism in front of the trigger (accutrigger) . I don't know what to do, is the stock need some modification? If somebody know the answer, because had a same problem probably smiling now, if the solution is easy, but I'm really upset, because I don't know anybody around here who can help, and a guy at a Cartel's country said on the phone , we will install it for $200....Please help ! If need I can email photos .

I'm having a little trouble following you, maybe you could put a picture up. Maybe the action screws are reversed if I remember correctly one is longer than the other. May have something to do with it.

Exactly, I can't pull a trigger, because that safety mechanism got stuck . I have no Idea what it caused a problem.Is working fine without stock, or with a factory stock. The moment I put in the B&C medalist A2 stock, this is happening!

So nobody has this newer 10FP 4.40" centerfeed with B&C A2 stock?
I need to find out what it caused this, I don't want to do any refinishing on the stock, because I don't know where can I start.

This may help.
With the action out of the stock, is it possible to manipulate the thing that is blocking the trigger so that the trigger can't be pulled? If so, you can try to see if you can determine how the stock is accomplishing a similar manipulation. Then you can relieve (open up) the stock so that it doesn't press on whatever is causing the malfucntion.
I wish you success resolving it.

It is not uncommon to have minor fitment issues with a new stock.
Relax! This is part of doing your own work.
I don't think it has anything to do with the Accu-triggers interruptor.
Looks to me like one of two things is happening.
1-The sear is not returning to uncocked position when the bolt is opened.......so it never has a change to engage the trigger.
With the bolt out, note how far the sear can pivot in each direction when. Do this out of the stock and then repeat in the stock.
2-The trigger is being blocked from engaging the sear.
Chech to be sure the trigger can travel as far forward when out of the stock as when in the stock.

When I put in the stock, tightened , and reload slowly a rifle, I saw the trigger pulled slightly.Like I want to pull a trigger first, and stuck, because the safety issue. Now , I have no idea why??

When to bolt lever is up (open) I can pull the trigger. The moment I'm closing (pushing down) the trigger slightly pulling, and everything stock. If I pushing up the bolt lever , the trigger is fine again.

Correction.....it could be the trigger or the sear.

Leave the bolt out and pull the trigger back while moving the Sear through its full range. You should feel it binding as it comes up. Work it hard in both directions a few times and when you remove the stock you should see some marks left on the interior of the stock where the Sear is rubbing.....most likely on the right side of the stocks interior.
This may also be a problem with the trigger being in contact with the stock in the place I marked on the pic I e-mailed to you.
Once you are sure exactly where the problem is; a bit if grinding or filing on this area should solve the problem.

If you look directly above the red circle, you will see a pivot pin, that has most likely worked part of the way out. One side of the pin is flanged, push it tight against the housing and you should be good to go.

On the first photo ,You can see the and of the spring is sticking out, on the second is scratching a stock inside. It looks I have to grind that wall a bit?

I don't think that scratch is from the springs tail.
The spring is just forward of the bolt-handle slot yet that scratch is just behind the slot.
Also, if it were the spring it would scribe and arc.... and that scratch is straight.

Thanx guys!!! I did 2 things, and problem solved !!
1, I adjusted the accutrigger
2, Just followed a direction above : "a pivot pin, that has most likely worked part of the way out. One side of the pin is flanged, push it tight against the housing"
