I know this isn't much of an update but I did want to mention that I heard from Glen Eberle today. They have been away at SHOT Show & have a lot to do to get caught back up. Glen mentioned that they are in the process of putting together an updated inventory accounting of what was a total loss (due to the fire) vs. what is currently available for immediate shipment. I'll be sure to post the updated inventory status once it is available so those of you considering an Eberlestock pack can map out your purchasing decision.

I also wanted to let you know that I'm going to be offering some 'Hide member only pricing on some Eberlestock accessories & packs that weren't mentioned in my original offering here:

Hi Guys,

Thanks so much for the inquiries & interest in these packs. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for an updated list from Eberlestock as to what exactly is still available and in what quantities. Hopefully they'll get me an update tomorrow but it is possible that it will be Monday before I have a list of what is available vs. what will be backordered until mid April.

With this being said, I am still working to reply some of the PMs and email you sent requesting availability & pricing. This has been a challenge since I have to contact their other Boise warehouse numerous times a day for real time inventory updates. I'm a one man show and I promise to get to all of you as quickly as I can but sometimes it is a day or two before I get an update from Boise.

Thanks again for everything & please let me know if I can be of assistance. I will be away from a computer from tomorrow afternoon until Sunday night (last weekend of deer season in Alabama, got to be in the woods where my Blackberry doesn't get a signal). Unfortunately, real time stock information is impossible right now. I can get ANYTHING offered by Eberlestock, including Multicam packs, but the problem is knowing whether it is actually available or backordered.

As a side note, Eberlestock charges a premium for any pack offered in multicam due to a licensing fee they have to pay (this is what they told me when I asked). I'd be happy to give 'Hide member pricing on any pack offered in multicam but it will be priced higher than the same pack offered in one of the "normal" colors.

Got another update from the folks at Eberlestock. Glen and his staff have put together an updated inventory list of which I now have a copy. While it is bad news when you think that the G4 Operator pack will be completely out of supply until mid April, there is some positive news in that quite a few popular models were unaffected and have a solid supply ready for immediate shipment. Eberlestock has also been very helpful in providing a forecasted resupply date so guys who are trying to budget for a pack can start to save for the date when the packs will again be available.

Eberlestock has a wide variety of packs designed to fit both specific application and general hunting/shooting/outdoors usage. The numbers from Eberlestock were provided per stock 1/30/10. I'll do my best to provide an inventory status of each model and, if the model is currently unavailable, when they are expecting to come off backorder. If I've missed one or you don't see a model of interest, shoot me a PM or email at <span style="color: #3333FF">[email protected]</span> and I'll get you a status update.
