Rifle Scopes Elevation help.

So I looked through the sitckied threads and didnt really find an answer.

I have a Bushnell 3200 5-15x scope on a EGW 20 moa rail, barrel length is 26".
For the sake of this exercise I am going to use the ammo specs off the box of Hornaday Superformance 165gr SST .308.

Muzzle velocity- 2840 fps

Drop
100 yds +1.8"
200 yds 0"
300 yds -7.6"
400 yds -22.1"
500 yds -44.7"

Does this combo have enough elevation travel to get to 1000 yds? I have 149 clicks upward travel on the scope, just counted

According to JBM @ 1Kyds it should look like this:

1000 Drop -35.6 MOA and 1129 FPS (still supersonic)

Looks like you may have enough elevation to reach 1kyds in theory.

Thanks Bob, I did play with the JBM calculator some more as I found some more information on the factory Hornaday load. Looks like again, in theory only I will make it. No I just need to get out and try.
