I’ve attempted to contact EOTech 6X using the contact form on their website. It’s been 3 months & still no response. I requested repair cost. Not even a get lost reply. This model has experienced a high rate of similar failures. This particular sight was on a safe queen with only about 200 rounds through it. I shoot more bolt guns than semis.

Hi,

Have you submitted the online RMA or just sent a contact us form submission?

Have you tried to get the dealer you purchased it from to see if they could get in touch with them via their channels?

I've never had to use them but many others seem to have had good results with response/fixes as late as 2019. Maybe they have a high volume this year fielding calls like a lot of other companies. I would also suggest the RMA.

Theis, the online RMS request form & call the number listed on the website.

My purchasing dealer wouldn’t help. He told me I needed to contact EOTECH. And they were snowed under with customers buying everything out.

Maybe reach out to the guys over at EuroOptics or SportOptics and see if they will help you.
Willing to bet they do enough business with Eotech to have direct phone number to warranty person, not department.

Thanks Theis for trying to help. I used the link you posted and sent another request....makes 7Xs. It’s the same one I used before.
what surprises me is that they don’t even send me a reply telling me to go screw off.
 
They came out with a new part to fix it. Its call Aimpoint
I’ve since bought 3 of the Leupold 34 mill tube with 1 moa dot - don’t remember model #. I love them & if something happened to them I believe Leupold would respond even if to tell you they can’t repair.
EOTech is my 1st that won’t even respond to you.
 
Had a couple. Took the check on one from the whole “thermal drift” debacle - I was looking to sell it and their price was the best. Transaction was super fast.

No problems with the one I kept, but it sees pretty light use.

Tonight I have been given the email address to EOTech’s support team. I’ve put together an email explaining everything along with a couple of pictures. It will be a positive sign to just get a response. I’m going to be optimistic and hope they had something going on that explains ignoring my RMA requests and that everything will work out. I will post on here what happens. Thank all for your responses as I really want to know if my experience was just an isolated case.
 
All, I’ve been under the weather for the bigger part of a week. I apologize because I wanted to get this out ASAP.

EOTech support has contacted me and they cannot find any RMA requests from me. In addition to the ones I sent this summer I also sent one the day I posted this thread. Everyone I sent was done on an Apple iPad. i believe there’s a good chance that that is the problem. I’ve had websites that won’t play fair with my iPad, but work fine from my desktop. Has anyone sent through a RMA off their iPad?. I run Safari as my browser.

*EOTech support has contacted me, issued a RMA, and is going to repair my EOTech HWS. I do believe in EOTech. The reason I bought the unit was due to I had heard so many good things about the company from friends who are skilled and very knowledgeable. I’m glad I created the post asking if it was an isolated case or poor support instead of a post bashing EOTech. To all who participated in this post please accept my thanks for your responses.

I sent one in for repair twice for the same issues. Long story short issue was never corrected and was treated poorly.

Last time I'll purchase from them. Hoping you have a better experience.
