I haven't seen a whole lot about either of these scopes on here. The Steiner in particular. Looking to purchase a shorty scope for a 6mm arc build. Will occasionally be shooting out to 1000 yards. 600-800 most of the time. Will be running night vision and thermal clip on for hog/coyote hunting as well. Looking for experienced opinions on these scopes and suggestions for similar scopes.

I owned a T5XI 5-25 and I had to send it back to Steiner for parallax issues that were never fixed, optical quality wasn’t the best. I own a vudu 3.5-18 and have nothing bad to say about it.

I can confirm. I had a T5XI 5-25 that never focused properly, even after sendwit to Steiner. The Vudu is a nice of glass, but the illumination is very very lacking.

Here is a good video showing you what you might want to see.

I don’t have any experience with the Vudu, but I have owned a T5Xi 3-15 and just bought another. I remember the T5Xi being pretty close to the first generation Razor as far as glass, but it has been a while since I have handled either.

There are plenty of people that have had issues with the Steiner, especially when they were introduced. Thankfully, I didn’t have any issues with mine and I am hoping the new one I have coming in doesn’t have any either.
