Like you, I would love to know more. I posted a thread a while back on the Scout Hide basically asking the same thing, but to no avail. My guess is these may getting the cold shoulder due to their history with the holographic sights. They appear to have some good features for their price point, with the exception of the reticle, which is a very weak effort. The field of view provided by the 3.5-18 is very appealing to me. For the price they are asking they had better have dead-on tracking and some respectable optical performance if they want to compete. I just don't want to spend $1,700 for a brand new optic that hasn't seen some field use.
