I dont understand how she came out of that wreck without serious damage. Sounds like she possibly either bailed or jammed the gas and let it fly.

If she was not wearing a seatbelt, it is very possible that she wound up getting ejected through the sunroof just the right way to land with minimal injuries. High speed accidents can produce very weird results with things like one person sitting beside the vehicle minimally hurt and someone else flat as a pancake.
