Extra Cheek Height on HTG

There are a bunch of ways to raise the comb height on a McMillan HTG. Here is another using 2" adhesive back hook & loop and Eagle stock pack to do it. This is a really good method for those using a butt spacer set up as the hook on the cheek obviates the need to use the rear strap around the butt.

It doesn't budge- WAYYYY more solid than a stock pack alone with the rear strap.

Hey scout thanks for the info. Attaching the first layer of hook right to the stock is a great idea. This is why the inside of the Triad Large Stock Pack is all loop material. Makes a great combo, just wish I had some in stock

Hey Steve- Thanks, but the idea started with you! BTW--We ALL wish you had some more in stock!!

Onemoretime- You can pick up a roll at Home Depot or any other Hardware store. Buy a big roll, you would be AMAZED how many uses you will find for that stuff!
