I know many of you have a FAL in the back of the gunsafe and my own DSA SA58 has seen many rounds through it. What is everyone shoooting in their FAL (bullet, velocity, powder, etc.?

Mine is a standard DSA built SA58 21" 1:12 barrel. It shoots 175 smk's (42.5 varget at 2550fps) ok but I really want to get a more accurate plinking round and I have a ton of 145 milsurp bullets to load. Speed on 145's for accuracy?

Not looking for single hole tack driver (it's a FAL) but maybe a decent steel ringer at 250-300. What say you?

I have a Belgian 50.00.

My weapon is more accurate than the norm, but if you have 145gr FMJ/BTs, try IMR 4895, RL-15, IMR 4064, VV-140/150, AA-2520 and/or Varget.

42-46grs depending on brass. Look to the 150gr data in your manuals.

You seeem to have the bullets finalized, now it's up to you and your rifle to determine what it likes the best.
