Father found strange man in 14-year-old daughter’s bedroom

I was like that too.
Usually invited to dinner by mom.

A handful of times without their daughter knowing....
A tad awkward. Then it worked out usually

Dads liked a guy who could talk to them and not be a pussy.
ask a couple specifics about their work or their hobby? All good.

Yup. I stopped by after work and also helped with the heavy manual labor around the ranches. That seemed to keep the strife down and answered a lot of the pass/fail questions every dad normally has.

I don’t think this dude had a callous. Nor will he ever.

Devil's advocate here but maybe, just maybe if the father taught his daughter a bit better about predators, and trusting strangers, this may not have been an issue. I am well aware, as a foster parent to many girls over the years, that you can't protect them all, and girls follow their hearts sometimes and not their brains.
I would have killed that man inside the house or would have dragged him back in the house.
