Hey everyone. I'm gonna be out this month. This is why. It was taken from my web site. Have fun everyone. Good luck!

1/5/10 - I let my membership expire at my local range here in Troy, NY. Saturday is the big day.
We'll be heading down to our new place in Largo, FL. I'll be living a 10 minute drive
from the Wyoming Antelope Gun Club, Florida Chapter, where I
will apply for membership.
So far everything is going smooth. I'll be without internet for about a week. I can't wait!

1/8/10 - Wow what a drive! We drove right through "Stormageddon" (crazy snow storm 3' +), and finally
got to our hotel here in Tampa last night. We will be here until Wednesday and then move into our new apartment.
It is gorgeous here! It's 70 degrees. Clear and sunny. I'm in a tee shirt! We also went to check out our new
apartment complex and this city of Largo. We now live in paradise! I've been in the Albany, NY area for all of my life.
It's crazy that I live here now. Sweet! We were going to check out the Wyoming Antelope Gun Club while we were in
Largo, but did not have the exact address at the time. Other than the drive, everything is going smoothly.

Awesome! I was able to go to the Wyoming Antelope Gun Club for their daily fee and picked up an application too. All of the local ranges here are 100 yards, so I will only be competing at 100 yards now. Which kinda sucks but that's ok. Manatee is 1000 yards but it's like an hour from me. Still gonna check it out sometime. Anyways...

The 100 yard was my highest percentage of X's yet... the ones that blew out of the 10 ring were all horizontal, so it is definitely wind misreads.

On the 200... I don't know what to say. I have been very inconsistent lately. I think I really need a spotting scope, and obviously, wind has been a factor. Not so much heavy wind as very shifty wind. I am used to 3-4" groups at 200 and it is looking more like 10"... all wind. My rifle was dead on at 100. At 200... I dunno, I am definitely seeing some dispersion. I should have kept on with the ammo I was using at 100. I have some stuff that usually works well at 200... but not yesterday.

18/25 X-ring! You Rock.!.!

This month I used better ammo for the 200/A21, only to miss a couple of wind calls; wind was light, but variable.

I have alot of trouble finding the X-ring. Turning the A21 around and shooting at a stick-on spotter helped me see .22 holes at 200.

Thanks to all that participated this month, and your input in the learnings thread.

Weather seemed to be the biggest factor this month, and seemed to keep participation down.

Congratulations to CARTER MAYFIELD, again leading the pack in the 100 yard arena with a super 18x's, and EL KABONG in the 200 yard, both in the paper targets.

SMALLBORE SNIPER also showed what a .17 could do, either north or south of the mason dixon line.

Hopefully the weather will break in March, a month of <span style="color: #009900">lephrachauns and luck</span>, lions and lambs, and springing forward.
