Suppressors Fingerprint cards shortage?

Anyone else having an issue with their SOT getting fingerprint cards? The place I use to do my paperwork has been out for some time and says he's having a hard time getting more.

This is common problem post 41F?

Just went about a month ago to the local sheriff's office and the lady doing my prints... had boxes and boxes of it!

The fact that they want new prints every time for each purchase is bullshit. NFA should do a 1 time PIN# for each person and then you can buy at will. Maybe new pics every 10 years? Prints, pics and background check every time is a huge waste of time and resources. Talk about fraud, waste and abuse...

There was a shortage earlier this year but I haven't had any problems since.

Amazon sells the FD-258. They are not expensive. I buy my own and take them to the local PD, with no problems.
